Gutters only work if the rest of the system cooperates — a properly sloped roofline feeding correctly sized gutters, downspouts placed where they can actually discharge water away from the foundation, and fascia solid enough to hold the hangers. We plan gutter projects around that whole path, not just the visible trough along your roofline, and fabricate every run on-site to fit your roof exactly.

Undersized gutters overflow in heavy Michigan downpours even when they’re clean and unclogged.

Downspouts positioned to discharge water well away from the foundation, not dumping it right at the base of the house.

Gutters are only as secure as the fascia board they’re hung from — soft or rotted fascia needs repair before new gutters go up.

How the roofline sheds water into the gutter affects overflow just as much as the gutter size itself.

Tell us about your current gutters and any overflow or drainage issues you’ve noticed.

We check gutter sizing, fascia condition, downspout placement, and where water is discharging.

A clear plan — sizing, downspout routing, and any fascia repair needed — before installation.

We install seamless aluminum gutters fabricated on-site to fit your roofline exactly.
Aluminum gutters fabricated on-site — no seams along the run to leak or clog.
For gutters that are sagging, undersized, or beyond repair.
Targeted fixes for sagging sections, loose hangers, or leaking joints.
Routed and extended to move water well away from your foundation.
Gutter work is not priced off the square footage of the house. It is priced off the roofline, and two houses of the same size can sit a long way apart. These are the five things that actually move the number.
We quote after looking at the roofline, not over the phone. An estimate given without seeing the fascia is a guess, and it is the guess that turns into a change order halfway through the job.
Most gutter quotes list a colour and a price. These are the details that decide whether the system is still straight and tight in ten years, and they are worth asking any contractor about.
Aluminium coil comes in different gauges. Thinner stock dents more easily under a ladder and works loose faster around the hangers. Heavier stock costs a little more per foot and holds its shape. Ask which one is in the quote, because it is rarely written down.
A seamless gutter is rolled to length at your house, so the only joints in the whole run are at the corners and the outlets. Sectional gutter bought in lengths has a joint every few feet, and every joint is somewhere a seal can eventually fail.
Spikes driven through the front of the gutter into the fascia work loose as the wood moves through Michigan winters. Hidden hangers screw into the fascia from inside the trough and hold the shape of the gutter.
Corners are where gutters leak first. We weld our miters rather than relying on a sealed box corner, so the corner is part of the run instead of a joint waiting to open.
The downspout has to carry what the gutter collects. A run fed by a valley or a long stretch of roof needs a larger downspout than the standard size, otherwise the gutter backs up in heavy rain even though nothing is blocked.
A downspout that empties at the foundation has moved the problem rather than solved it. Extensions, buried lines and dry wells are part of the same conversation, and we would rather raise it before the job than after your basement does.

Great experience with Jamie and his crew for gutter replacement. Jamie gave a no nonsense quote, very straight forward. He scheduled me and got the crew out within a week. They finsihed in a few hours. I paid the final invoice. Done! Previously, I had requested four quotes from four different contractors. 3G was the cheapest and most qualified in my opinion. It's ridiculous the amount of nonsense other contractors display not knowing I'm a woman with 13 years in construction. I always play dumb, because I want to see who NOT to hire. Jamie treated me fairly and with respect from the start. He gave an appropriate price, clear terms, and provided his license and insurance without hesitation. Wonderful experience and I will be calling 3G back for my garage siding project. Very pleased with their work and professionalism.Posted on Google

Jamie was very pleasant individual to speak with and made sure to call to update me on any details. The roofing itself is amazing, the group that was here did a great job with clean up and taking off the old roof. No more leaking in my backroom!!!
Sizing, downspout count and whether guards are worth it all change from one city to the next. Each page below covers how we handle it there.
Not on the list? We cover Warren, Roseville, St. Clair Shores, Chesterfield, New Baltimore, Mount Clemens, Rochester, Auburn Hills and Richmond too — see the full service area.
Roof area, pitch and valley concentration decide whether five inches is enough or six is necessary. Undersized gutters overflow in a normal Michigan downpour no matter how clean they are.
Gutters are only as secure as the board they hang from. Soft fascia gets replaced first, and we carry that trade so it does not become a second contractor.
Downspout placement and extensions are decided in the estimate, because moving water off the roof and dropping it at the foundation solves nothing.
Runs are formed at your house to fit your roofline, by the same crew that measured it, which is the whole point of a seamless system.
The same family has run this out of Fraser since 2011, and we install gutters in the same weather that will test them.
Gutters prove themselves in the first heavy autumn rain and again under ice in February. When something needs adjusting, you call the same Fraser office that hung them and speak to people who remember the roofline. Staying local and family-run since 2011 is the reason that call goes somewhere useful.
Overflow with clean gutters usually means the gutters are undersized for your roof’s water volume, or the roofline is shedding water faster than the trough can carry it. It is a sizing problem, not a clog. See our Learning Center guide on sizing a Michigan roofline for 5-inch or 6-inch gutters.
Gutters do not prevent ice dams, which are driven by attic heat loss and ventilation rather than by the gutter. What poorly maintained gutters do is hold wet debris at the roof edge, which gives ice somewhere to build. Our guides on what actually stops ice dams and gutters in a Michigan winter go through it.
It depends on your roof size and pitch — a larger roof area generally benefits from 6-inch gutters and larger downspouts. We’ll recommend sizing based on your specific roofline during the estimate.
Seamless gutters are fabricated on-site in continuous runs, which means fewer joints where leaks and clogs typically start compared to sectional gutters assembled from pre-cut pieces.
Most houses are a single day. The gutter is rolled to length on site, so there is no waiting on an order, and the old system comes off the same morning the new one goes up. Jobs that need fascia replaced first, or that run across several elevations with awkward access, can go into a second day.
Yes. The old gutter, the old hangers and the debris out of them leave with us the same day. You should not have a pile of aluminium on the drive when the crew goes home.
It gets replaced before the new gutter is hung. There is no way to hang a gutter properly on soft wood, and hanging one anyway is how the same gutter pulls away again in two years. We check the fascia at the estimate so it is in the scope rather than a surprise halfway through.
Yes. Aluminium is formed cold and hung cold, so what winter changes is access and daylight rather than whether the work can be done properly. A gutter that is overflowing and freezing at the eave is the one job you do not want to leave until spring.
Not always. A gable end with no eave above it has nothing to collect. What matters is that every roof plane shedding water over a walkway, a door, a foundation or a planting bed has somewhere for that water to go.
Sometimes, and sometimes they are only half the answer. If water is running off the roof and soaking the ground against the foundation, gutters and extensions change that. If the grade falls towards the house, the gutter alone will not fix it, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a gutter and leave.
